For anyone who happens to be attending either of the major Blind conventions, we're considering setting up some sort of get-together, depending on how much interest there is. We tried this last year, but it was last minute and the site was quite a bit smaller. I'm planning to be in Louisville for the NFB convention while Rdfreak is coming in all the way from Australia for the ACB convention in Las Vegas. If you're planning on going, or have any questions or ideas on what we could do, here's the thread to do it. Hope to see many of you there.

I wish I could go, but I can't. Anyone coming to the CTEVH conference down in my area, by chance? It's hardly as popular as these two conventions, but ... I'm going, since it's local. It's quite fun. Anyway, somethign quite as good as the convention's happenign here: Rachel (RdFreak)'s coming to visit me!!! Yayayayayay!~ I'm so happy! But I'd love to meet some more zoners. Maybe I'll get to come to convention some day and meet you all. Anyway happy Conventioning to all of you lucky duckies! Caitlin

and guys, while we're on the subject of me going to the US (yes all the way from Australia J and all! :) anyway as well as well as hopefully being able to get together with some of you in Vagus, I will be also at the following states and was wondering if anyone was interested in getting together for a Zone picnic?
Will be San Fransisco from only the 27th til 30th of June,
Then of course, flying to vagus, baby! :)
Then am off to Florida from, about the 10th til the 20th,
Then to Tenisee from bout the 20th til the 27th,
then a chance that I'll head to Michigan but am not 100% clear on that yet.
So yeah, any picnics and get-togethers in any of those states, please do reply.

can't do conventions...
I'm thinking I will be going to the NFB convention (is it not in Atlanta, J?) though we (that is Dad and I since I will probably just go with him, something never done by me before) have no plans or anything. I went to it in 03, was a horrible whiner and stayed for the whole thing which I don't think I will do in the future.

Nfb's in Louisville this year again, and I'm hoping to be there. That's a really nice hotel. I'd love to meet some of you.

Oh, now I wanna go to Vegas. But the hotel in Louisville is so nice and we have to go to Aph while we're there. They have the best Braille museum.

hmmm I don't think my finances will allow me to do much else other than attend and travel between a few states. :( One of my other friends who's going is right though. I'm sure once I do it this once, i'll get the travel bug and do it a lot more! :)
